Frank Bruno MBE is one of Britain’s favourite celebrities. In this film he talks about what it is like living as a man – single, recovered from mental health problems and being known as a celebrity. Bruno’s wit and humility shine through as does his respect for others. There are moments in the film where we are painfully reminded that fame, money and relationships can never overcome the fact that we are ultimately all on our own. Mostly however we are gripped by a story of a man whose spirit is much bigger than his immense physical stature.
The film contains a live recording at the National Mental Heath Development Unit’s Equalities Conference 2010 and also some green room footage.
